Below is a copy of our standard booking terms & conditions.

Terms & Conditions

The Balance must be paid in cash or cheque on the night before the start of the performance.

Until both booking forms are fully signed and Compact Disco's are in receipt of a copy, the booking remains as an enquiry. When we hold a fully signed booking form and deposit your booking will become confirmed and we will return one copy of the booking form to yourself.

If we have not received the signed booking forms along with the deposit by the return date (see return date over leaf), the booking date will become available to the public.

The Disco will be conducted in a suitable manner throughout the attendance and will respond to the Client’s requests of volume level, equipment placement and any related, reasonable requests.

The full price stated over leaf has been agreed by both parties and covers the stated performance times. If the Client should wish to extend these times, an additional overtime rate will be charged per half hour or part there of (see overtime rate over leaf).

The Client should allow adequate time either side of the performance time for the setting up and dismantling of the equipment (see set up time over leaf).

The Client must provide The DJ with both suitable access into the building and an earthed, mains electrical supply, of a suitable rating. In the event that this is not provided The DJ reserves the right to reduce the size of the show, until The DJ is satisfied.

The DJ endeavours to attend every disco or provide a suitable alternative. In the unlikely event of The DJ being unable to attend due to a reason outside their control, The DJ shall not incur any liability. In the unlikely event of The DJ failing to arrive outside these circumstances, a refund of the deposit would be given.

In the event of a Client wishing to cancel the booking the full deposit paid will be forfeited. If the cancellation is within 31 days of the date of performance the full payment will be due. The agreed deposit must be paid to confirm the booking. No dates can be confirmed until we have received the deposit. No cancellation's can be made until we have received your copy of the booking form along with a completed cancellation form (available upon request).

The Client warrants that they are entitled to use the venue, for the occasion stated overleaf and The DJ will in no way be liable for any breach of laws, bylaws and conditions, governing the use of the venue.

The client shall provide adequate supervision of all guests, staff or customers and will be liable for any loss or damage, to The DJ's vehicle or equipment caused by these people.

No manual alteration is to be made to the booking details (i.e.date, times and venue) any changes made must have the prior agreement of Compact Disco's and may affect the booking fee.

The chosen musical format of Compact Disco's is the CD and any music brought along by the client must be in this format, please note we do try to provide all music listed on the music request slip.
