Frequently asked questions

Q) How long does the DJ need to set up and dismantle the disco?

A) For a medium show it takes approximately 1 hour to set up and again 1hour to dismantle.

Q) Do I need to provide anything?

A) We need two 13amp mains sockets for power. A soft drink or two is most appreciated for the DJ, but not essential. Our DJ’s will never drink any alcohol or smoke whilst setting up, playing their set or dismantling their equipment.

Q) Do you have insurance and PAT Testing?

A) All our DJ's have public liability insurance and we recommend a minimum of £5M indemnity. Again all our DJ's equipment must be P.A.T. tested which stands for portable appliance testing and basically means all our equipment is safe and regularly checked and maintained by a qualified electrician.

Q) Do you offer karaoke?

A) Currently we do not have the facility for karaoke, but we are able to hire in a system whenever it is required.

Q) Music, what can you offer me?

A) We pride ourselves on offering the music you want, we also find out what music you like and also what you do not like! We will not play a request for a particular song if you have indicated that you do not want it played. We are happy to play your cd’s if you have a style which we do not carry although this is very rare, but please clearly mark them with your name. If you request a song before your function that we currently do not hold we will endeavour to find the track for you.

Q) How do I go about booking with you?

A) First of all give us a call, email or complete the online enquiry form to check availability. After asking you some general questions about your requirements to enable us to give you the best possible quote. We will then send you a booking pack, which includes your contract & music request form, just sign them and return with your deposit.

Q) When is the balance due?

A) The balance is due on the day of the function, by Cash or cheque. We can also accept credit card payments, however this needs to be authorised a day or so before the function.
